Chord #12 - A7 (b13/b5/b9)
This is a cool spread voicing for a fully altered dominant chord. Although there are no guide tones (guide tones are the 3rd and 7th of the chord), the dominant sound is implied by all the tensions in this chord. Like other incomplete voicings - it is useful to use this chord in combination with another more standard voicing. The line in this example is driven by the rhythmic idea as well as the large intervals.
