This chord could be called a Cadd9 but I figured because the 9th is in the lower octave, this uncommon name might be most precise. (I also thought of Csus2(add10) but that sounded even more confusing!)
This voicing is also very similar to Chord #30 - in fact I just took one note out from Chord #30 to get today's chord.
The musical example is a simple I-IV-V progression that has been embellished using open strings.
