Today's chord of the day is a rootless voicing for G7. In fact, it can be also viewed as a B-7(b5) or a Dmin6/B or a C#7(#5/b9) and many other enharmonic chords. When we view it from the lowest note of the voicing as a B-7(b5) it can also be viewed as a Drop-2 type voicing.
For the musical example, I started off with the Chord #99 G7(13) voicing and then followed it with a predominantly G minor pentatonic line that ends with a chromatic approach into the lowest note of the voicing.
Enjoy!
