This chord sounds sweet to me. A great Ionian voicing with a hint of beauty because of the major 2nd interval between the D and E. I can see myself using this chord for jazz ballad and for pop guitar arpeggio parts.
The line uses the chord shape followed by a triplet-based scalar line. Contrast is always great for a line and here I used an arpeggio combined with a scalar passage.
