For our guitar chord of the day, I've selected a G7 voicing that I've heard used in so many stylistic contexts! I've heard it in Chet Atkins-Tommy Emmanuel styled solo fingerpicking pieces, Jazz chord melody solos and especially in one-chord funk vamps. In the musical example, I played a simple 16th note funk rhythm guitar example that alternates between today's chord and Chord #101 (played one octave higher).
