Chord #104 - G7(9)

chordaday104

Today's chord is what Berklee chord guru Bret Willmott calls a 9th(no fifth) type chord. For the
musical example, the line is built out of a sequence of diatonic sixths that lead into the root of the chord.

It can be really fun to create lines from mostly one interval. More exercises can be created by writing lines using intevals of sevenths, ninths and others. Write your own ideas to further explore this concept and end the line on a voicing of your choice.

Enjoy!
